Other Side Effects Of WINLEVI Besides Purging
- In theory Winlevi could lead to problems with blood pressure. I said this in theory because clinical trials have not shown the possibility of problems with blood pressure in the right dosage. So again, like with purging, most of the other side effects might occur only when you use too much of it. I would advise you to use only one gram of the drug twice a day on the affected areas.
- It can cause hpa axis suppression and the risks of this happening increase if you apply Winlevi under the occlusion. So for example, if you are using Winlevi on the face, you don’t want to use a pimple patch over it.
- It can increase the levels of potassium. Of course, only extremely high potassium level can cause a heart attack and requires immediate medical care. Studies have shown that 5% of tested people had an increase in their potassium levels.
- It can cause itchiness, redness, and irritation of the skin. All of these things are more likely to happen if you have sensitive skin.
